Ballycotton Cliff Walk
Although not a looped walk, the Ballycotton Cliff Walk is renowned in the locality for its spectacular scenery and abundant wildlife. The Ballycotton Cliff Walk starts at the car park which is located at the most westerly end of the town (turn right uphill just before the pier) and extends over 5 miles of cliff the beach in Ballytrasna. There are many stiles to cross on the route which is a foot worn tract along the cliff face. A notice board in the car park will point out many of the 300 species of bird life that can be viewed from this stunning habitat. An alternative return route is a 3 mile hike back along the road from Ballytrasna.
