| Surfing in East Cork |
The coastline of East Cork has many blue flag beaches and other beaches off the beaten track such as Ballybrannigan. Unlike the West coast of Ireland, the sea here is much calmer and the surf is not so high. However, in certain weather conditions, excellent surfing can be had along the coast of East Cork at Garryvoe and Youghal. There is lots of opportunity to wind surf and Kite surfing is also becoming increasingly popular in the area.
If the surf is not high enough for you, we are sure that your dog will enjoy it anyway!
